public policy & government relations
Our Public Policy and Government Relations Group has a long history of leadership on government relations and public policy issues, which stems from our well-established relationships with key decision makers at all levels of government. Our lawyers regularly advise corporations, agencies, non-governmental organizations, associations and governments on government relations and public policy issues and have taken the lead in initiating changes to legislation in key areas of governmental activity, including taxation, competition law, business law, and regulation of foreign investment.
Our Group consists of an integrated, experienced group of lawyers and public policy and government relations professionals. The Group is recognized by many firms and public office holders as a leader in the field of effective public policy advocacy and government relations. We assist business in effective and timely dealings with government and we assist governments in developing sound public policy. Our focus is on the interface between the regulatory activity of governments—at all levels—and our clients’ interests.
